BioRecently formally diagnosed with distressingly trendy Asperger Syndrome (AS), I've intensified my efforts to navigate the neurotypical world. Like most people, I've been writing my own navigation manual all my life. Unlike most people, I'm missing many chapters on social interaction and a lot of my information is dead wrong. After years of seeing various psychiatric professionals and receiving various psychiatric labels, now I finally know how to seek this missing information.
So I'm conducting informal studies on the neurologically typical human. My current findings, though shocking and fascinating, have not supplied me with the expected understanding. I still don't get it.
But, hey, I'm working on it. I sneak off to this blog to write about my difficulties, engage in unsuppressed self-pity and chronicle the half-life of a perpetual stranger.
